It’s crazy official. This Sunday I’m officially joining Westfield (I know this seems strange to you United Methodists). The trustees have been working on getting the sign changed for going on three months now. I arrived at Westfield at the start of October. It was a whirlwind. Meeting congregants, planning worship, learning what it is like to prepare a sermon and preach every week. The last thing on my mind was being sure the sign had my name on it. Several church members, excited to have a new minister, reminded me that we needed to have it updated and last Friday, it was!

I love that that the sign says J.M. Chapman. The sign above our grandfather’s store said C.M. Pittman Grocery. Love you!
